Tiroler Fremdsprachenwettbewerb

Congrats to Letizia Ladner (5ITA),

who was awarded the excellent third prize at the ceremony in Landhaus I in Innsbruck on 3 March. Werner Mayr (Leiter d. Pädagogischen Dienstes der Bildungsdirektion) was happy to congratulate her together with the other winners of this year’s Tiroler Fremdsprachenwettbewerb AHS and BHS that took place at PHT Tirol in February. Daniel Gmeiner (5ITB) had also reached the finals and performed at an extraordinary level. Well done, both of you, may your great English skills be of use for your future life after the Matura!

English in Action

The English in Action Week was a unique and enriching experience that provided an opportunity to step outside the traditional classroom environment and focus on developing our spoken English through practical use. The program was led by native English-speaking instructors, which gave us the chance to engage with the language in a more authentic and immersive way.

Throughout the week, we participated in a variety of interactive activities, including group discussions, role-plays, creative writing tasks, and project-based presentations. These exercises encouraged teamwork, critical thinking, and above all, confidence in using English in real-life situations.

Overall, the English in Action Week was a valuable experience that not only helped improve our language skills but also made learning enjoyable and relevant.

A special thanks goes to our teacher Peter, whose energy, patience, and sense of humour made the week especially memorable.
